    For more than 50 years, Celanese emulsions and polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) have been a vital component of high quality adhesives in a broad array of end-use applications. Our
    technology is based on the excellence of our predecessor companies that include Hoechst, Clariant and Vinamul in emulsions and Air Products and Acetex in polyvinyl alcohol.
    These technologies have allowed the commercialisation of adhesives into exciting new applications and at the same time has raised standards for quality and performance
    wherever they have been employed.

    In 2007, we will have 14 emulsions and PVOH plants on 3 continents – including 6 emulsion plants located across Europe – ready to supply you. To ensure quality and stability of supply, Celanese is backward integrated in the production of our key monomer, vinyl acetate.
